The Swiss Chalet
The Swiss Chalet, constructed to resemble an Alpine Chalet, forms the heart of Swiss Gardens, situated to the south of the main Hall. The Chalet has been used as an additional room for the Health centre, and comprises, over two floors, a hall, kitchen, former bathroom and a large bedroom. Constructed of rendered brick under a tiled roof, there is a wooden balcony at first floor level and an inscription in German which, in translation, reads ‘Be Welcome, my dear friend: it was a good hour when fate led you here.
The Russian Lodge
Constructed with elegance overlooking the parkland as well as roaming deer’s and horses.
